2007-06-25 - Znorkelfish
I had a dream 2 nights ago that I worked at a pet store that sold only fish. One of the aquariums contained three enormous Znorkelfish, each worth somewhere around $250,000. Well, somehow, on my watch, something got clogged up in one of the filters on the aquarium that held those $250,000 apiece Znorklefish and all the water became filled with smoke. (Yeah, you got it. Smoke.) After I unplugged the aquarium's pump and mucked around in the smoke a bit, I was befuddled to find that the Znorkelfish had... completely disappeared! Right then I knew it. Despite the fact that I'd just lost 3/4 of a million in znorkelfish and most definitely my job, I had the satisfaction of knowing that electric shock to a tank of Znorkelfish would produce a tank of Liquid Smoke... a trade secret beyond measure.
I am SO glad I woke up at that point. >8-o
However, not long after that I realized that I have an unrealized dream... to write (and illustrate) a children's book. That sounds like so much more fun that getting CIW certified... but I think I'm up to the challenge of doing both!
